An exclusive wine tasting in a beautiful wine cellar with Switzerland’s second Master of Wine, Paul Liversedge. We will taste and enjoy several “European classics” together with specially prepared dishes, which match the wines.

„European Classic Wines explained by a Master of Wine“

Paul is British but has lived and worked in Zürich since 2005. He originally trained as an accountant but his passion for wine and travel soon overcame his interest in balance sheets, and in 1993 he started working in the wine trade. In the 20+ years since, he has worked as a wine buyer for Thresher’s in the UK, General Manager for Watson’s Wine Cellars in Hong Kong, and Fine Wine Manager for Badaracco in Switzerland.

Paul set up his own business - called Real Wines - in Summer 2009, which specializes in selling delicious wines from lesser known areas of Europe (Portugal, England, Hungary etc.) and the best producers of the New World to private and trade customers alike. He also specializes in selling fine wines from France’s most famous producers. He writes about wine regularly in the Swiss newspapers and is a member of Swiss International Airlines’ on board tasting panel. He runs a variety of wine tastings, seminars and education classes for customers and students. Paul became Switzerland’s second Master of Wine in 2011. Besides wine, he enjoys most sports and has a particular love of Scotland’s castles, golf courses and whiskies!
